One Part Time Driving Position

 

Quality after school program seeks a part time CDL driver to help with after school pick ups.  Hours are limited at this time but could include some time with the older children.


Requirement- CDL, Passenger endorsement Good driving record

                       Child care license (will help get if needed)

                       Enjoy children k-5th grade

                       Flexibility a must!

 

Pay Depending experience and education


If you would like to be considered for employment at KASP please follow these guidelines:  
  • We are an accredited program and expect that our employees have had both some early childhood experience (more than babysitting) and some education in Early Childhood.  
  • Positions occasionally available at KASP are Lead Teachers, Co-Teachers, Support Staff and Snack Attendant.


Duties are, but not limited to:
  • Preferred Early Childhood Education or Elem. Ed. Degree or Child Development Associate.  
  •  Experience and some education accepted (program will help teacher obtain CDA)
  • Experience with special needs a plus but not required
  • Demonstrates understanding in ECE and NAEYC
  • Under the supervision of the Lead teacher help to develop and implement curriculum plans based on NAEYC guidelines
  • Understand each child’s individual needs and develop plans accordingly.
  • Helps maintain portfolio and documentation on each child
  • Communicates effectively with parents
  • Responsible for writing monthly classroom newsletter with help from Lead
  • Responsible for maintaining the classroom environment with help from Lead
  • Participate in Professional Education opportunities
  • Maintain CPR and First Aid Certification
  • Maintain valid City Childcare License
